pertaining in the region.
- To establish links,
networking & collaboration
with other relevant &
strategic local, regional, and
international institutions.
- To promote & encourage
integrated management of
livestock diseases/vectors,
validation and valorization
of IKS in livestock
management and care.
- To build capacity in
integrated management of
vector-borne diseases (IKS
focused) for both livestock
development specialists &
livestock farmers.
- To conduct RD & I on
livestock diseases epidemiology,
vector ecology/population
dynamics, diagnostic methods,
indigenous breeds and
introduction of trypanotolerant
breeds.
