SANBio 2nd Bioinformatics Workshop: Pathogen Genomics
The workshop will be held from
2-6 August 2010 at the University of Pretoria in South Africa. This will be hands-on training on the utilisation of bioinformatics applications for understanding pathogen genomes. Participants will have to opportunity to work through the various tutorials that will guide them on how to use the tools.

SANBio Network Director wins CSIR Biosciences Management Award
The SANBio Network Director, Prof. Luke Mumba, was awarded the Biosciences Management Excellence Award for 2010 in recognition of his contributions to the successful establishment and implementation of the NEPAD Agency /Southern Africa Network for Biosciences (SANBio) in the SADC region.
